Roll up, roll up all ye Beatles fans....Ready to be re-released by Disney in the near future as a 3D remake, it's The Beatles' YELLOW SUBMARINE....
This was The Beatles' eleventh official album release and interestingly enough, the first album of theirs to included non-Beatles material. Released, after a delay, in mid January the album made it up the UK charts to the 3rd position....With The Beatles' 'White' album denying it the top slot.
There were only modest sales-in comparison with other Beatles releases-as the sales were around 800,000 within the first three months, but it did go over 1 million sales by the end of the year. This could have had something to do with the album having only four original tracks and the rest was George Martin's film score.

YES-That Good!! I have not heard this album with such clarity for a very long time!!
I think I noticed two incredibly light pops on side two throughout the whole album...MAGICAL.
Very clear highs and lows.
The singular point to mention is a slight wobble when playing side two-not evident at all on side one...Does not affect playback and isn't terribly noticeable either.
SIMPLY SUPERB.

 She does not have the statement "Sold in the U.K...." showing it is a 2nd press. Does have "Mfd. in U.K."....
Only a handful of incredibly light spindle marks, visible only when angled towards the light.
NO writing and BARELY ANY hole wear.
Play this baby and then frame her!

 It is the original cover.
WITHOUT the GARROD AND LOFTHOUSE STATEMENT TO THE FLIPBACK! This is really quite hard to find.
 Has the two red lines above and below the text to the back. The back card is still nice and white.
The flipbacks are in wonderful condition, with the lovely rounded edges and remaining clean.
The cover is the early cream cover, rather than the next printing of more white and darker grey for the 'hill' on which The Beatles are standing.
There are only a couple of small areas of spidering to the front laminate-really has stood the test of time incredibly well and would look great framed!
The spine remains superbly strong and free from wear.
AGAIN-SUPERB!

 White die-cut inner "Made In England" & the earliest as it has the "Patents Applied For" text to the bottom left corner.
Perfect for this copy!!
