This album was The Beatles FIRST release on the now famous Apple label. It was entered into the charts on the 7th of December 1968 and went straight to number one-where it stayed for 7 weeks! Making it the FIRST double album to get the top slot...EVER!
The rather unusual fact about this album is that it was the first release by The Beatles which contained only SOLO material.
By the time 1970 ended, the total sales of this wonderful album were estimated to be 6.5 Million! However...get this...The only other album that beat this a few years later was "Saturday Night fever" !!!

The Vinyl:

VG+++. GORGEOUSLY shiny vinyl. The vinyl has a some faintly visible marks to her, BUT after playing her through, I found just a very small amount background noise and a tiny, tiny skip on track 1, side 3...Don't know why, as I cannot see the offending mark...
With just a gentle clean she'll sound even better.

Wonderful deep & rich STEREO sound reproduction
Lovely and quiet for the fade in and out of Helter Skelter.
A joy to listen to, which would only improve with a professional clean....Really nice playback!
EACH RECORD IS AS FLAT AS THE DAY SHE WAS BORN.


The labels: EX-. All four of the labels are extremely bright and clean with the DARKER apple.
Only very light spindle marks-with only a small handful of them! Barely ANY hole wear to each label.

"Mfd in the U.K." to each of the labels.

"An EMI Recording" printed to each side BUT without the brackets!

The Cover: NUMBERED: 0346243 It is the first run TOP loading with a great shine to her.
Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold.
The spine remains strong, with a tiny area of lifting to the laminate...really nothing at all to worry about at all.

Has the printing of Stereo to the back top right.

There is just ONE very small half crescent of spidering to the laminate, and a few light indentations...That really is it!

 Lovely and clean inside.

They each have minimal wear to them with a small amount of feathering near their openings and some small tears near the windows

They have been kept in simply TOP condition!!

Poster: VG+. It is the ORIGINAL 1st printing of this poster. Lyrics printed to the back and kiss to the front.
NO writing.
Has some wear to the creases of the fold-with one split along one of the creases.
WOULD DISPLAY WELL.
