THIS IS FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION, SO WILL NOT ACCEPT LESS THAN THE STARTING PRICE-SHE WORTH CONSIDERABLY MORE!!!

This album was The Beatles FIRST release on the now famous Apple label. It was entered into the charts on the 7th of December 1968 and went straight to number one-where it stayed for 7 weeks! Making it the FIRST double album to get the top slot...EVER!

The rather unusual fact about this album is that it was the first release by The Beatles which contained only SOLO material.

By the time 1970 ended, the total sales of this wonderful album were estimated to be 6.5 Million! However...get this...The only other album that beat this a few years later was "Saturday Night fever" !!!

The vinyl has only some light needle marks to each disc. BUT after listening to her ALL THE WAY THROUGH, I only found some light occasional background crackle, with the odd light pop-which I am sure would improve with just a gentle professional clean.

NUMBERED: 0136586 It is an EARLY first run, with TOP loading.

 Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold

The spine remains strong and clear, with barely any rubbing!

Superb cover-creamy white.

The only points of notice are a slight wrinkling to the back bottom gatefold and a tiny tear which hasn’t gone all the way through-to the back too (2cm)

SIMPLY LOVELY CONDITION

Correct MONO cover as it doesn't have the printing of  Stereo to the back top right.

GLORIOUS and clean on the inside of the gatefold.

AGAIN, I AM BEING INCREDIBLY CRITICAL!!!

Excellent, very strong Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold flipbacks....

ORIGINAL FIRST PRINTING!!!

Inners:  EX+!! Original BLACK inners. They are both INCREDIBLY well looked after.

NO rips/tears or splits-simply magical condition!

They have the die-cut corners and the'windows' on one side to each.

THEY ARE ALL ORIGINAL-NOT REPRO!

They are NEAR MINT AND ORIGINAL.

They DON'T have any pin-holes around their edges...Which was quite typical for the Beatles fans to pin their beau's up on their bedroom wall.

She is in magical condition-WITHOUT splits or tears, or even pin-holes!

Vibrant colours too.

ALSO INCLUDED IS THE ULTRA RARE AND ALL ORIGINAL SPACER!! These were included in the package back in the day to avoid the pictures from sticking together...As you can well imagine, the avid Beatles fan, in all their haste would’ve thrown this away to get a good look at their heroes and get the record on the deck....suffice to say, there aren’t many of these around now.
