This album was The Beatles FIRST release on the now famous Apple label. It was entered into the charts on the 7th of December 1968 and went straight to number one-where it stayed for 7 weeks! Making it the FIRST double album to get the top slot...EVER!
The rather unusual fact about this album is that it was the first release by The Beatles which contained only SOLO material.
By the time 1970 ended, the total sales of this wonderful album were estimated to be 6.5 Million! However...get this...The only other album that beat this a few years later was "Saturday Night fever" !!!

This copy bears all the hallmarks of the second run 1973 pressing: Fully laminated cover. No number to the front, but BEATLES embossed. Side opening. White die-cut inners. Correct YEX matrix..

I can just see some light dust and finger prints!!
Listening to her I heard all sorts of different instrumental arrangements-thanks to it's superior sound quality.
Almost ZERO background noise!

The Cover:

There are just some tiny marks to her, if I am being ultra critical-remains white in colour.
Side opening with "The Beatles" embossed on the cover.
SUPERB & UNCRUSHED strong spine.
The corners remains sharp, with the bottom left having just a slight knock....Very critical here!
Inside-the images are as vibrant as when it was printed back in '73.
Opens with a crackle-as if being opened for the 1st time!

THEY ARE ALL ORIGINAL AND SUPERB


Pictures: VG.....All there. I noticed a pin hole to the top of Paul & George, a small tear (where a pin used to be) to John and the top border cut from the top of Ringo.....Nothing bad at all.
Remain full colour gloss.


Poster: EX..Superbly looked after. As a note: There are some remains of small spots of blu-tac to the back and the top two corners have their corners cut.
Remains EXCELLENT.
