Description
About This Record. This is a Beyond Rare Test Pressing of Captain Beefheart's Spotlight Kid LP form 1972. I've never seen any other Captain Test Press before (see my other RARE Captain stuff for sale over the next couple of hours or days). Nice keeper copy; see detailed description below and PLEASE CHECK my Feedback which will show you my grading, Cover/Vinyl, of other LPs I have recently sold and what the lucky people who are bought them think of them and our experience. The photos of the labels or cover list the songs and any possible details about the labels.
I offer full refund including shipping both ways (for USA and foreign buyers in case for some wildly strange reason you might be unhappy with this purchase. Comes hand-cleaned on my VPI 16.5 Record Cleaning machine (hate those automated 17's) and placed in a new dust-free sleeve for your grandchildren. And at least one plastic sleeves for moisture protection (for you and me).
Cover Condition: EX- plain blank white cover with "Captain Beefheart" and other writing on the cover (see photo please). Lots of age wear on the cover Please See all the Photos I took. I didn't take them for fun and frolic.
Vinyl Condition: Strong Excellent (EX) vinyl.
Labels. Near Mint (NM) Labels. Please see photos of all labels.
Inserts: Comes with original plain white (now brown) paper inner sleeve that I found with this LP when I purchased it about 25 years ago, and the now brown inner is very brittle but still there. No worries, the vinyl was Removed long ago from this inner into a proper sleeve that has long since been upgraded and now cleaned (see below).
Packaging. I clean all my Records on a KL Audio Ultrasonic Record Cleaning Machine so they will be ready to play, and I place in a new rice-paper equivalent sleeve so the dust does not reattach; and I separate the vinyl in its new sleeve after cleaning from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection. I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack with at least two insert stiffeners, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and/or “Fragile” or something like that to help facilitate a safe passage.
