(One of the best complete packages I have seen for this album)
This Lp was released on the 10th July 1964. The 45rpm was released in April and at that time the Beatles' film had yet to get a title and as the story goes, Ringo emerged from a long days work saying "It's been a hard day," then seeing it was already dark added " 's night." This was then announced to the press as the title on the 17th of April. Ringo may have seen this phrase before in Lennons book "Sad Michael."
Holding a number 1 postition for a huge 21 weeks, from July the 25th!!!
This is also the ONLY Beatles album to have every track written by Lennon/McCartney.

EX(-). Lovely heavy vinyl with a gorgeous sheen.
There are only a few light marks to both sides.I found the sound reproduction EXCELLENT throughout.
I have just listened to the whole album and didn't find any less enjoyment in playback, some very occasional background noise in the quieter sections-The run ins and outs are lovely and quiet..
Just a gentle clean will improve her further.
Very nice indeed.

(This is an unusual tax code for this lp as the MT tax code was used from January 1963 only until the 1st of June 1963...a very short running indeed and as this record was released in November 1963 it is a very unusual label indeed!)

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST COVERS I HAVE EVER SEEN FOR THIS ALBUM
Solid, mid-sized mono in top right corner. Shiny front cover...She only carries some very small fingers of spidering to the front laminted cover-eminating from the seams and spine.
MAGICAL
ZERO discolouration to the back card!
There is an original record store sticker to the top flipback-which states it cost 32/- This can be easily removed if you wanted, without any damage to the cover....But I shall leave that up to you...I think it adds a nice little bit of age :)

The Garrod and Lofthouse flipbacks are in wonderfully strong condition.
STRONG, UNCRUSHED & LEGIBLE spine.
NO rips or tears!!
Has "Patents Pending" to back bottom right corner flipback.

It is the ORIGINAL "USE EMITEX" inner in TOP condition, just slight creasing and a small nick to the window on one side.
Tracing-paper like lining.
