Description
The Beatles
Abbey Road
No 'Majesty'
**LOVELY EARLY pressing**
(With misaligned Apple plus original BLACK inner too)
Fantastic 1969 Beatles UK LP. This was the Beatles' 12th LP, released on the 26th September. It was also the last official Beatles release that was recorded by them. Staying at number one for almost 18 consecutive weeks, it was only knocked off by The Rolling Stones' "Let It Bleed."
Have a listen to a track from this baby up for auction:

Vinyl:
QUALITY 140g VINYL
EX!! Lovely FLAT & SHINY vinyl. She only carries a couple of superficial, light whispy marks to her not affecting the audio.
JUST HAD THE UTTER JOY OF LISTENING TO HER
A professional, but gentle clean and you've got a TOP copy!
CERTAINLY NO JUMPS OR SKIPS
Labels: EX. There are ONLY A FEW light spindle marks, seen only when angled towards the light...With NO hole wear.
PLEASE SEE THE DETAILED IMAGES PROVIDED
NO "Sold in the UK..." text.
Outer text begins: "Apple Records all rights.."
"Mfd. in U.K." text. The labels are nice and vibrant.
This is the 1st pressing DARKER version of this Apple label.
The last song credit DOES NOT HAVE "Her Majesty" on the Side 2 label.
NO WRITING
Cover: EX!!The cover of this LP is the rarer cover; with the alignment of the Apple Logo on the back NOT being inline with the text.
The spine is lovely and strong.
ONLY A COUPLE of very small crescents (3!) and some small fingers of spidering.
SUPERB EXAMPLE
Sharp corners with slight knocking.
VERY CLEAN AND STRONG SPINE
NO SPLITS
(ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE SEEN IN A VERY LONG TIME)
The alignment of the Apple Logo on the back is OUT OF LINE with the text.
Inner: EX! ORIGINAL BLACK inner...These were only issued with the very 1st pressings. One-sided window, die-cut black inners-similar to the early White Album release.
This one is in SUPERB condition, with just a little feathering to the opening...very nice indeed!!
Certainly done her job in keeping this very early slab of vinyl in tip-top condition!
THIS IS A SUPERB COMPLETE & COLLECTABLE PIECE WITH THE RARER COVER, VERY 1ST PRESSING VINYL AND ORIGINAL BLACK INNER.
*A COMPLETE PACKAGE FOR THE SERIOUS COLLECTOR*
