Description
Here is a cool Jazz album from my collection offered up for sale: Sweet Brazilian singer Astrud Gilberto's popular 1965 album "The Shadow Of Your Smile". This is a 1st pressing by Verve Records V6-8629 (Stereo), has heavy vinyl with black and silver labels, VAN GELDER in dead wax, printed inner sleeve. Album features Astrud's smooth Bossa Nova Jazz version of "Fly Me To The Moon" where she sings scat with the trombone, a great listen!
The vinyl rates EX, is super clean and glossy, just a few light marks, nothing heavy, looks minimally played! PLAY TESTED, plays very good from start to finish, deep sound with some occasional very light background pops, nothing heavy, no skips or jumps. The labels have only a few spindle marks, one side has sticker remnant.
The cover rates NEAR MINT, is super clean with minimal wear, minimal age discoloration, all seams solid, no splits, no tape, binder edge is EX and readable, no signatures or writing, paper sleeve excellent, no splits, looks minimally handled. (see all photos)
Will be shipped in a .3 ml plastic sleeve in a record mailing box with tracking. Vinyl will be shipped in paper sleeve outside cover to prevent cover splits.
