Description
Here is an unusual Christmas album from my collection offered up for sale: Lou Rawls' holiday album "Merry Christmas HO HO HO" released in 1967, this is a 1st pressing ST 2790 (Stereo), on heavy vinyl with "colorband" labels and printed inner sleeve, has been a well cared for 51 year old album! This features classics done Lou's way, his smooth deep vocal with great Jazz backing band, songs including cool version of "The Little Drummer Boy" and "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve" ,"Good Time Christmas" and more, a great album!
The record grades EX, is clean and glossy, has a few light marks, nothing heavy, has been well cared for! This vinyl has been PLAY TESTED, plays excellent from start to finish! Inner sleeve is clean and bright, center splits neatly taped.
The cover rates NEAR MINT, is super clean and bright with great quality portrait of Lou, edges and corners excellent, no splits, no tape, binder edge EX and readable, back is clean and bright, no signatures or writing, no stains, looks minimally handled! (see all photos)
Will be shipped in a .3ml plastic sleeve in a record box with tracking. Vinyl will be shipped in paper sleeve outside cover to prevent cover splits.
