Description
Here is a debut album from my collection offered up for auction: Neil Young's 1968 self titled debut album "Neil Young". This one is a RARE 1969 pressing with RE-1 in deadwax on both sides, original design cover, printed inner sleeve. This 1969 pressing was re-mixed to Neil's satisfaction, better than the original release, but with the same two tone labels and no name cover like the original, cool! Great songs on this album: Heart Of Gold, Old Man, Alabama, The Needle And The Damage Done, A Man Needs A Maid, Are You Ready For The Country, and more. This one is in well cared for condition.
The vinyl grades EX, is beautiful, clean and glossy, only a few very light marks, nothing heavy, looks minimally played. This vinyl plays with deep sound that has very light background pops, very common for this pressing, a great listen! deadwax 30817 RS 6317 A-1B RE-1 and 30818 RS 6317 B RE-1 -1B small circle stamp
The gatefold cover rates VG+, is clean with bright colors, no ring wear to portrait, front has a linear scratch to the slick, top seam and bottom center seam splits neatly taped, binder has small corner bump but is solid and readable, inner sleeve is clean with splits neatly taped, only light wear overall!
Will be shipped in a plastic sleeve in a record mailing box with a tracking. The vinyl will be shipped in the paper sleeve outside the cover to prevent cover splits.
