Here is a SUPERB vintage record from my collection offered up for auction: A vintage ORIGINAL 1958 pressing of "The Kingston Trio", their 1st album ,Released in 1958 on Capitol records T-996 MONO in with the heavy vinyl and turquois labels in beautiful condition, fantastic quiet playing record! Cover looks very minimally handled and has been very well cared for!
The heavy weight vinyl grades EX, is super clean and glossy, near pristine disc shows only a few very faint light marks, looks rarely played! Has been PLAY TESTED, plays great from start to finish with excellent sound quality! Includes vintage printed Capitol inner sleeve in excellent condition, clean, no splits, looks rarely handled! The cover rates EX, is super clean, has deep color with no ring wear, edges and corners excellent, no splits except 1/2" at bottom opening, no tape, binder edge is EX and readable, looks rarely handled, no signatures, clean white rear cover,small date written in lower corner (9-22-58) is only flaw, has been a well preserved! awesome 58 year old, beautiful!
Songs include their smash hit Tom Dooley and "Sloop John B" later covered by the Beach Boys. This great folk version of the song sounds like the framework that Brian Wilson built his hit record around!
