Description
Here is a fantastically preserved beautiful original 1st press Beatles record album from my collection offered up for sale: The Beatles' debut Capitol album, "Meet The Beatles", released in 1964 by Capitol Records T-2047. This is an early MONO pressing, this has the early press brown letter cover front cover with a "#6" on bottom corner of rear cover and no George Martin producer credits, has the blue Capitol inner sleeve. The labels have three BMI credits and are in fantastic shape! (see photo)
The vinyl grades VG+/EX, is super clean and super glossy, has some very faint & very light marks on each side, nothing heavy. PLAY TESTED, plays from start to finish, has bright deep clear sound!, no skips or jumps, minimal surface noise. A very enjoyable listen! Original blue picture inner sleeve is clean and crisp. has a couple repairs.
The cover rates easy VG+, close to VG+/EX, is clean and bright with minimal ring wear, binder edge is solid, EX and readable, one small flake at center, NO splits, bottom & top seam in fantastic shape!, back cover is clean! 2 tiny spots noted near corner and #6 , no signatures or writing. Terrific 59 year old record album! . (see all 12 pictures)
Will be shipped in a plastic sleeve in a record box with tracking. The vinyl will be shipped in it's paper sleeve outside cover to prevent cover splits.
