Description

Here is an album from my collection offered up for auction: A very RARE 1st press, 1968 MISPRINTED 2 LP album, The Beatles "White Album". This is the APPLE 1st pressing with (quickly corrected) MISPRINT labels.  The labels were quickly corrected to the common correctly titled labels. These few early press versions with misprinted labels are MEGA rare! Reportedly less than 100,000 are or were in circulation!! Here's your chance to own a fReAk pressing in your collection! The labels read "Bungalow Bill" instead of the correct "The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill" plus, the miss-spelled "Rocky Racoon" instead of the corrected spelling "Rocky Raccoon". PLUS, "Revolution 9" is incorrectly titled "Revolution No. 9" as is "Revolution 1" incorrectly titled "Revolution No. 1". INCLUDED with this album are all FOUR original PORTRAIT photo inserts on heavy weight card stock paper! ALSO INCLUDED is the POSTER printed on heavy wight paper, which features large color photos on one side and lyrics on the other!!  COOL FIND!!  Released by Apple Records SWBO-101 STEREO. This is a first pressing with numbered gatefold jacket number (A 0246549). These records grade EX, are beautiful and glossy, clean! Both have been PLAY TESTED. Play from start to finish with excellent sound quality! No skips, no jumps. A very enjoyable listen! The cover rates VG+ close to EX, no signatures, no stains and only VERY light wear to edges and corners, partial split at top bottom center. Top seams have been neatly repaired with clear non-yellowing tape (very unnoticeable) (see photos). Side 1 matrix reads: SWBO-1-101-B35, Side 2 matrix reads: SWBO-2-101-A36, Side 3 matrix reads: SWBO-3-101-A36, Side 4 matrix reads: SWBO-4-101-B37. The first press apple logo MISPRINTED LABELS are in great shape, no signatures. The photos are in EX condition, clean, look unused. The vintage poster does have some age wear, a small tear near the edge, seam neatly taped. There is NO RESERVE PRICE!
