This album was the fourth release for the now stella band. It was let loose on the British public on April the 16th 1966 and onto the US public by the 20th of June 1966 (by London Records, rather than the Decca label).
This album was the very first album to contain ONLY compositions of Jagger and Richards-so this proved to be a breakthrough for the band. Reaching number 1 in the UK and number 2 in the USA (again with different track listings for UK and US releases).

EX-/VG+. Lovely sheen. I have just given her a THOUROUGH listening to and WOW! Turn it right up and clear yer ears out!! There are just a few faint light needlemarks to both sides of the vinyl-more to side 2. With some very occasional background noise; with 3/4 of track 5 on side 2 having revolutionary light clicks and track 5 on side 1 having the occasional pop...the rest of the album has a few other very occasional pops, really not bad at all-CERTAINLY NOTHING TO MAKE THE NEEDLE JUMP OR STICK.
Check out the DEEP bass when 'Under My Thumb' kicks in.
FLAT as the day she was born.

Labels: EX+. There are only a handful of VERY LIGHT spindle marks visible-with NO hole wear.

Sleeve: EX!! As you can see by the detailed images, the cover is in SUPERB condition.
Front laminated, with just 3 or four small crescents of spidering and light rubbing to the corners.
The back card is only ever-so slightly discolured through the passage of time....That really is the only criticism I can offer...!!
Big "U" in a circle printed to the back top right corner.
