This Lp was released on the 10th July 1964. The 45rpm was released in April and at that time the Beatles' film had yet to get a title and as the story goes, Ringo emerged from a long days work saying "It's been a hard day," then seeing it was already dark added " 's night." This was then announced to the press as the title on the 17th of April. Ringo may have seen this phrase before in Lennons book "Sad Michael."
Holding a number 1 postition for a huge 21 weeks, from July the 25th!!!
This is also the ONLY Beatles album to have every track written by Lennon/McCartney.

 Lovely heavy vinyl with a gorgeous sheen. There are just a few INCREDIBLY light, fine marks to the vinyl-mainly from simply removal and then replacement of the original EMITEX inner. With sound reproduction being fantastically clean and clear.
I have just listened to the whole album and had a blast!
I found the guitar so clear on Im Happy Just To Dance With You that I could envision George sat there and picking away in Abbey Road studios back in '64!! AMAZING.
Also the base line on "I'll Cry' was magically clear and clean...The harmonies shone out in all of their glory too.
I didn't even notice any background noise of any significance-The run ins and outs were also lovely and quiet..
Only ever been very carefully played.
 Very, VERY nice indeed.

 Lovely and clear. Just a handful of light spindle marks, visible when angled towards bright light, with barely any central hole wear...Please see the detailed pictures.

 Outer text "The Parlophone Co. LTD" (ONLY 1st Press have this) it DOES have the "Sold in the uk.." text.

Would frame incredibly well.

"MT" tax code to side 1.
(Now this is unusual as this tax code was used from the 1st of Jan 1963 to the 1st of July 1963 and this record was released in 1964-When the tax code should be the more familiar "KT"!!! HOW UNUSUAL!!)

Shiny front cover...With just a few very small fingers of spidering eminating from the seams to the front laminted cover-INCREDIBLY NICE!!
Slightly discoloured back card, but nothing bad at all.
STRONG & SOLID CORNERS
The Garrod and Lofthouse flipbacks are in SUPERBLY strong EX+ condition!
STRONG, UNCRUSHED & LEGIBLE spine.
NO rips or tears!!
Has "Patents Pending" to back bottom right corner flipback.
The front has an original stick from back in the 1960's from a clock specialist, who must've turned their hand to selling vinyl too! It would be removeable by the winner-I am only including it as I think it has a nice nostalgic feel.

It is the original "USE EMITEX" tracing paper lined inner.
In lovely condition.
Just carries some light creasing and some discolouration.
I noticed a very small 2cm split to the bottom seam-that is all I can mark her down for.
She has certainly done her job in looking after the lovely slab of vinyl!
