This was the very first official release, being released on the 22nd of March 1963 (MONO version) and later on the 26th of April 1963 (STEREO version). The Lp reached number one in; Disc Weekly, Melody Maker, New Musical Express and The Record Retailer in the UK. Only to be knocked off by their next album With The Beatles.
Amazingly the songs, which were taken from their first two singles and included a further ten songs, were all recorded in one marathon session at Abbey Road Studios. John wasn't feeling too well and got throught the 3 sessions in the one day by having milk, tea and Zubes lozenges....

heavy vinyl, with just a few incredibly light marks certainly NO jumps or skips....The Beatles in all their original glory.
I have just finished listening to the whole of the album and found only MINIMAL background noise-so a gentle professional clean will clear the audio even further.
Superb rich deep bass reproduction.
ONE OF THE BEST 4TH PRESSINGS I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS

Labels: EX! BARELY ANY central hole wear as seen in the pictures. Other than that the labels stand out nice and clean, with no writing or rips.
Outer rim text starts with "The Parlophone Co.Ltd"
NO "Recording First Published 1963" stated under the printed matrix number.
NO "Sold In UK..." statement...Showing it is the TRUE 4th pressing.
**ALMOST AS IF SHE HAS POPPED OUT OF A TIME MACHINE**
"M.." from the "MT" tax code visible on side 1.
Inner: Near Mint!!. It is the ORIGINAL "Use Emitex" with the poly-lining.
Also carries the printed statement:
"Patents Applied For"
Certainly done her job in keeping the record in wonderful condition!

***IN SUPERB CONDITION***
There is a only minimal wear to the cover, with just a few small fingers of spidering to the laminate near the bottom right corner.
Gentle rubbing/light knocking to the corners.
Angus McBean in the EXTREME lower right corner on the front.
VERY strong and clear spine.
