Led Zeppelin
Houses Of The Holy
French miss-print: "House Of The Holy"
NMint Vinyl!
(RARE FRENCH ORIGINAL PRESS)
Being released on the 28th of March 1973, by Atlantic Records, this album was a 'tip of the hat' to the Zepp fans who turned up to hear them play live at places-dubbed Houses Of The Holy.
The album was full of NEW MATERIAL and entered the UK carts in the number 1 position, also reaching the number 1 slot across the Atlanic, in the US charts.
This copy up for auction is the increasingly rare French pressing with the 1st pressing labels.
Catalogue Number: 50.014
Dead Wax info:
Side 1: MPO 50014 A X3 STERLING RL
Side 2: MPO 50014 B STERLING X3
W-O-W VERY 1st PRESSING WITH THE MUCH LOVED AND ACCLAIMED "RL" CUTTING, FOR SUPERIOR SOUND.
The Vinyl:
129g
EX++!!!Yep-really is that good AND SOUNDS THAT GOOD too! She only looks to have been played once or twice (once by me at full volume ;)
Glorious sheen to the vinyl...there does appear to be a tiny, tiny wobble-NOT affecting the clear audio at all ..That really is it!
The Labels: NMint...YEP, that good. I can't even see any faint spindle marks!
"Made In France"
It is THE VERY 1st PRINTING of this increasingly rare French album!!!
It also carries the MISS-PRINTING:
"HOUSE Of The Holy" to both sides, rather than the HOUSES Of The Holy.
The Sleeve: VG. It is the ORIGINAL gatefold sleeve but does have some ring-wear evident, light knocks to the corners and very light feathering to the opening.
I AM BEING INCREDIBLY CRITICAL-PLEASE SEE MY FEEDBACK FOR FAIR GRADINGS
Please also see the detailed images provided for yourselves.
STRONG and UNCRUSHED SPINE
The inner is a 'jellyfish' plastic inner. Certainly done her job in keeping the record in TOP CONDITION.
ALL IN ALL THIS IS A QUALITY SOUNDING RECORD ON 1ST PRESSING FRENCH LABEL-CARRYING THE SPELLING MISTAKE. GRAB HER-PUT HER ON YER DECK AND TURN HER UP!
