1970 UK stereo vinyl LP on the Harvest label with no EMI boxed logo & 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd' perimeter label text.
Matrix Numbers:

SHVL 774 B-2 (with 744 stamped out and replaced with the correct 774 number)

This was recorded at Abbey Road with Beatles engineer Norman Smith, this a magical album, more subtle than its predecessor. In a front laminated gatefold picture sleeve SHVL774

Superb condition. After I gave her a gentle vaccuum clean, I played her all the way through (at volume) and was so happy with the audio, I was tempted to keep her.
Beautifully clear and clean highs and lows with minimal, light and very occasional background noise you could hope for.
Visually I can see hairlines from removal and replacement of the inner but nothing bad at all.
Gorgeously rich and full of body - like a good wine :)
The Labels:
Near Mint-.
1st Press WITHOUT the EMI logo to either side.
All I can see are a few light spindle marks...These being ONLY visible when angled towards the light and looking for them.
SUPERB.
The Cover:

Gatefold laminated 1st pressing here.
There are only around 4 small crescents of spidering near the opening to the front and back. With a small amount of rubbing and knocking to the top of the spine.
NO SPLITS. When taking the photos, I noticed a name to the inside of the right panel of the sleeve-where the record is housed-not offensive but needed to be mentioned. Lovely and clean and still remains vibrant in colour too.
The Inner:
EX
It is the ORIGINAL Harvest inner, with the adverts of other Harvest releases on it.
The only thing to mark her down is the fact the inner plastic lining has become unstuck-an easy fix if you wanted to.
SO FOLKS....HERE IS A VERY 1ST PRESSING OF A SUPERB ALBUM, WHICH STILL SOUNDS AS RICH AND FULL OF WONDER TODAY AS IT DID BACK IN 1970!
