Here is a RARE Stones album from my collection offered up for sale: A The Rolling Stones "Beggars Banquet" album, vinyl has been well cared for, has first edition vinyl and cover! Released in 1968 on London records PS-539 STEREO, this is the original vinyl and cover that was quickly changed after first press. In reference to the song writing credits, the back cover reads "Written By Mick Jagger and Kieth Richard", when in fact the song "Prodigal Son" was actually written by Rev. Wilkins. Then, "Written By Mick Jagger and Kieth Richard" was removed from subsequent cover pressings and the label on the vinyl has separate song credits, listing Rev. Wilkins. Great songs on this album, songs include: Sympathy for the Devil, Street Fightin' Man, Salt of the Earth and more!! The vinyl rates EX, is super glossy & clean, very well cared for, only a few faint sleeve marks, nothing heavy, has been well cared for! PLAY TESTED, plays excellent from start to finish, minimal surface noise, no skips, no jumps, a very enjoyable listen! The circa late 60's boxed London logo labels are clean and bright, no signs of heavy wear! The gatefold cover rates VG+, close to EX, white cover is still bright with minimal age discoloration (near edges), edges and corners only light wear, binder edge readable, no signatures, small split at opening has been neatly glued (unnoticeable), no tape, has tiny pin hole near corner of slick, a couple of light spot stains, overall minimal wear, inside gatefold is clean, has small center split. Includes vintage London printed inner sleeve, neatly taped, shows other Rolling Stones albums, cool! A must for the serious Stones collector! Own it now with my fair BUY IT NOW price!
