Description
Here is a vintage album from my collection offered up for sale: Paul McCartney and WINGS album "Band On The Run", this is a 1973 USA 1st pressing released by Apple Records SO 3415 Stereo, cover still with LYRIC inner sleeve and POSTER. Music features cool bass and piano riffs by Paul, songs "Nineteen Hundred And Eighty Five", plus hit song "Jet", "Band On The Run", "Helen (hell on) Wheels" and more, GREAT album! This one looks minimally played and handled!
*Note: The USA pressing is the only original to have included the song "Helen Wheels", a last minute addition, the lyrics do not appear on the inner sleeve.
This record rates strong EX, is super glossy and clean, just one small light mark and a faint sleeve mark, looks minimally played, has been very well cared for! PLAY TESTED, plays GREAT from start to finish with excellent sound quality, minimal surface noise a VERY enjoyable listen!! The 2 sided inner sleeve is in NM condition, super clean and bright, no splits, no tape.
The cover rates strong EX, is super clean with deep color and almost no wear, edges are excellent, text on binder edge is EX and readable, no splits, no tape, corners have only very light wear/wear to color, has a tiny sticker spot blemish, looks minimally handled! The poster is super clean and bright, looks un hung and rarely handled. (see all 12 photos)
Will be shipped in a .3 ml plastic sleeve in a record mailing box with tracking. Vinyl will be shipped in paper sleeve outside the cover to prevent cover splits.
