Here is a RARE EX album from my collection offered up for sale: An original 1967 lp by The Doors, their album "The Doors", the self-titled first album, has been very well cared for, hard to find in this nice condition. Released in 1967 on Elektra records EKS-74007 Stereo, this is a 1967 first pressing with the heavy weight vinyl and the "Big E" gold labels. This vinyl has the deadwax stamp for the acclaimed Monarch Recording Studios sound mastering, the "circled MR" symbol, cool! Great songs: Break On Through, Soul Kitchen, The Crystal Ship, Light My Fire, Back Door Man, The End and MORE!!! Side one deadwax reads EKS 74007 A - RE circled MR symbol, triangle symbol 9991 and side two EKS 74007 B-2 (mon) circled MR symbol, triangle symbol 9991-X.

The vinyl grades strong EX, is super clean and glossy, has a few faint sleeve marks, a couple small very light marks, looks minimally played and has been very well cared for! Has been PLAY TESTED, plays great from start to finish with excellent sound quality! The labels are super clean with minimal faint spindle marks.
The cover rates EX, is clean, edge/corner wear is minimal, no splits, no tape, binder edge EX and readable, has only light ring wear with great portraits of the band, no signatures or writing, looks minimally handled. Still has the original and hard to find Elektra printed inner sleeve, great shape, bottom seam split neatly repaired with non-yellowing clear tape, minimal wear, clean! (see all photos)
