The SMMT Ep was released on the 8th of december 1967 but in the USA it was released 11 days earlier on LP!
It entered the UK charts on the 13th and stayed there for 12 weeks, rising to the No. 2 slot, being stopped by "Hello Goodbye" to reach the top slot.
Marketed as:
"A 32 page full colour book packed with exclusive pictures, a strip cartoon of the original story, plus the words to the songs in the show !"
This is an ORIGINAL 1st pressing of the more expensive STEREO version:

The vinyl: EX!!!
BARELY ANY marks to either of the discs! With the VERY light, barely visible marks, having no effect!
The most visible being a very small scuff at the start of track 1, side 1...plays over without a problem.
Some light background crackle/Shhh, which would be severly reduced with a gentle professional clean.
FLAT & SHINY
Deep bass kicks in on "Flying" :)
"KT" tax code stamped into each run-off groove.

Lovely and clean...Just a couple very faint spindle traces, visible only when angled towards the light, with equally incredibly light wear to the central hole.
TOP example.

The Cover: EX+!!!
Bright, excellently strong and UNCRUSHED spine. Only very VERY minimal amount of rubbing throughout...That really is it!
Gorgeously strong Garrod and Lofthouse flipback inner....Really REALLY nice example.
NO rips/tears or writing!
Has the 'drawn' Apple logo to the back sleeve.

Superbly intact, with the all important BLUE lyric sheet, still attached by the original 3 staples.
NOT EVEN ANY RUST TO THE STAPLES-NOW HOW OFTEN DO YOU FIND THAT?!?
No writing of any sort and still bright with colour and white pages standing out...Only the lightest of discolouration to the edges-that really is it!
Simply lovely!
The Inners: EX!!! ORIGINAL WAVY INNERS...With just some creasing to them and light discolouration due to age-Quite rare and difficult to find these originals in ANY state, let alone this wonderful state!
