These are around a century old original first pressing Thomas Edison diamond discs, called diamond discs because only a diamond stylus can play these, the term RE-CREATION ON NEAR CENTURY YEAR OLD SLEEVE IS A COPYRIGHTED TRADEMARK ORIGINAL BY THOMAS EDISON BECAUSE HE WOULD PLAY HIS DIAMOND DISC IN A THEATER AND POEPLE COULD NOT TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE RECORDING AND THE ACTUAL SINGER/ORCHESTRA IN PERSON LIVE, HE DID THIS AT MANY THEATERS AROUND THE COUNTRY, THIS IS A First Pressing Edition - on both sides of diamond disc record label is the patent from Thomas Edison, as is his photo on label, below label is matrix # which corresponds to the year of release, your evidence of authenticity with the Series # printed on side of record as they are near 1/4 inch thick, new generic sleeve included
