Excellent Original U.S. Beatles White Album!

This is a beautiful copy of the original U.S. pressing, Apple SWBO-101 bearing No. 2948163. It is complete with the poster & classic Beatle portraits, in near-mint condition!

Sleeve:
- Fab...clean, glossy & still very white; perhaps just a shade of age yellowing.
- No dirt, no smudges, and only the tiniest bit of ringwear and disc impression in a couple spots.
- No. 2948163.
- To be picky, the back face has a small number written in blue pen in the lower right corner. Not serious or even obtrusive in any way, but needs to be mentioned.
- Spine is solid with clear, bold text – about as nice as you’ll find.
- Inside is outstanding; bears “SWBO 101” text only (no Apple copyright). Centerfold slick is unbroken. Only detraction is small brown area on the bottom edge below the JL picture.
- Seams had minor splits but have been neatly and solidly repaired; otherwise, just some light shelf wear. Nowhere near as yellow as they appear in the picture.
- Corners are excellent, with only light wear. Front cover opening edge shows a very minor feathering over about a 3-inch span; otherwise edges are sharp..
- A superb cover!

Vinyl Visually (viewed under a high-intensity lamp):
- Very nice indeed!. Clean & lovely 1st-press labels (Capitol logo on sliced-apple sides). No writing, wear, or other non-original detractions. A few light spindle marks can be found when viewed at the right angle.
- Disc 1 has a few sleeve-extraction marks, hairlines, and a handful of short, light needle drags, but no major dings. Side 2 shows a longer, non-feelable mark of undetermined nature. Disc 2 likewise has a few hairlines and a couple minor needle marks, but is cleaner overall. A beautiful, deep gloss remains.
- Proper titles for relevant tracks (Cont’g Story of Bungalow Bill, Ob-la-di, Rev 1/9 & Good Night).
- Both discs are banded pressings.

Critical Vinyl Play-grade (through headphones):
- Music throughout is clear, bright, and undistorted.
- Disc 1 plays at least VG+. There is occasional light, unobtrusive surface noise and a handful of minor multi-rev ticks, but no apparent groove wear. “Blackbird” is perhaps an exception – it seems to exhibit more crackle than the other tracks; must have been someone’s favorite!
- Disc 2 is an easy VG++, often better. Side 3 plays beautifully. Heard just a smattering of crackle going into Helter Skelter through Long Long Long, and couple random pops here and there. Side 4 is likewise, except for a bit more noise and a multi-rev tick through the early part of Revolution 9 (someone looking for “Paul is Dead” clues?).
- An excellent listen overall!

Poster & Pics:
- Pics are in glorious mint condition. Heavy stock with rich, vibrant color. No tape stains, scuffs, scratches, or handling marks. You’ll be hard pressed to find a nicer set.
- The poster is outstanding, showing only a few light handling marks. Folds are solid with very minimal wear. The lyric side is still remarkably white.

Paper sleeves are included, although the discs are in new poly sleeve liners.
