How rare is this? Well I have bought and sold over one million LPs during my 45 years in business and this is the ONLY ONE I have ever come across!!

This promo display was made in 1967 and was sent to the larger record stores in December 1967 for the Christmas season to promote Vincebus Eruptum which would be released the next month in mid-January 1968.
It is a full size First Mono pressing pressing jacket with a stand die cut into the reverse (see photos for a clear look), The stand folds together to make a counter display stand up! The die cuts have never been opened so if you decide to set this up you will be the first person to do so in  in 47 years!!!

The display features a first pressing Mono cover- all silver and violet ink. NO white which appeared on later releases. And the full name of Augustus Stanley Owsley III appears on the reverse.
This stand alone would go for a good solid  price but wait!!! There's even more to this great display!!
Inside the display I found an exceptionally clean promotional white label copy of Vincebus in Stereo!!
The LP is super clean on both sides, not a mark, not a scratch. The spindle holes show no sign of ever being used.
Now normally I play grade my records but I suspect that this LP has never been played so I have left it as is.
You could not find a finer copy.

Promotional display jacket has some wear and bends on a few corners and a scrape on the top right reverse. Just enlarge all the photos as I have included hi-res images of all aspects of the item.

This display and LP will be very carefully protected and shipped in an oversize carton to eliminate any damage concerns.
