This was the Beatles' thirteenth and final album release. Let It Be was originally released as a Box Set, with "The Beatles Get Back" book. Of course the album went straight to the number 1 position within the Melody Maker, New Musical Express and Record Retailer charts. It stayed there for 3 weeks from the 23rd of May 1970. The release date was the 8th of May 1970 for the box set and the 6th of November for normal album release.

STUNNINGLY CLEAN & CLEAR, FULL OF DEPTH AUDIO THROUGHOUT.

I have just given her an Ultrasonic bath, followed by a gentle vacuum clean & then played her-all the way through-and wow! She provides a fantastically beautiful, clean and clear sound reproduction!

Even the run-ins and outs are as close to silent as you could hope for...AMAZING!

All I can see when angled towards the light are just a handful of light marks to the vinyl-which I found only briefly and occasionally registered when I played her back at volume :)

To be critical-there was a VERY faint revolutionary pop on track 1, side 1 at the start-for around 4 revolutions, I also noticed 4, more pronounced pops, right at the start of Let It Be, lasting for precisely 4 revolutions-And another 13 about a third through the track...I am stating this for those people out there who believe I have a time machine and can pop back to get one of these records without ANY minor imperfections from the day of release on May the 23rd, 1970...I may have the time machine-but I am missing the flux capacitor!

I have recorded Let It Be-so you can hear exactly what I have for sale...This track has the most pronounced pops on playback, with all the others playing back with glorious deep and rich audio (albeit with just a couple of very OCCASIONAL, faint, light and insignificant background pops).

Still has that gorgeous shine.

DEEP rich bass with clean and clear highs.

Wonderful INCREDIBLY rich and rounded full audio playback.

FLAT as the day she was born.

ONE OF THE BEST COPIES I HAVE HEARD IN A LONG TIME..

Superb condition...No writing, rips or tears and just a handful of incredibly light spindle marks-very hard to see and only visible when angled towards the light and really looking for them..Lovely!

It carries the DARK GREEN MATTE labels-as the very first pressing do.

Shiny, glossy, rich black colour to both sides. The pictures of the Beatles shine out in all their glory.

Laminated to both sides.

There is just minimal storage wear nothing bad at all-please see the detailed images provided.

Just lightly knocked bottom right corner with the other three being wonderfully sharp.

The back cover has the green apple above the EMI and Apple records text at the bottom. The spine is still lovely and strong...you can clearly see the writing down the spine "The Beatles Let It Be" & "Apple Records PCS 7096."

Only 2 or 3 small lines of spidering to the fully laminated cover.
