This really was the birth of progressive rock! It was the Beatles' 9th Lp and what an impact it had. and still does have. Released on the 1st of June 1967, the album reached number 1 across the board, staying at number 1 for 23 weeks!! With a total of 148 weeks in the charts!!

LOVELY AND CLEAR....Only carries a few very light and insignificant marks to the vinyl.

I gave the vinyl a gentle vacuum clean, followed by an ultrasonic bath and then listened to the album-all the way through and found a simply wonderful sound reproduction with CLEAR HIGHS and dee bassy lows...GLORIOUS!

!!!TURN THIS BABY UP LOUD!!! (I did)

The audio really was stunningly clean and clear all the way through...The Tabla is wonderfully bassy, bouncy and clear :)

The Lowrey organ really blasts out with a gorgeous haunting melody on Lucy.

Played (very loudly) I noticed some minor crackle in the run-ins and the odd, and only a brief soft, occasional background pop..Nothing to worry about at all.

Does carry splits to each side, but still remains strong, intact, genuine and colourfully bright and vibrant to this day-please see the detailed images for yourselves.

Certainly done her job by looking after this wonderful slab of vinyl for all these years.

There are just 3 small crescents of spidering to the front near the opening, a small line to the bottom right corner on the front & only 2 tiny crescents to the back lamination. With just small fingers emanating from the spine. I am being VERY critical here, as well as honest as possible.
