EX+/EX+ DECCA SXL 2059 ED1 BRAHMS SYMPHONY NO 2 KUBELIK VIENNA PHILHARMONIC
PLEASE NOTE OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS/MONTHS I WILL BE LISTING NUMEROUS RECORDS FROM A VERY WELL PRESERVED COLLECTION OF CLASSICAL RECORDS. MANY OF THE EXAMPLES IN THIS COLLECTION ARE IN THE BEST CONDITION I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY TEN YEARS BUYING AND SELLING RECORDS. SOME EXAMPLES ARE IN A STATE OF REMARKABLE PRESERVATION AT LEAST EX+ TO NEAR MINT IF NOT BETTER.
THE PREVIOUS OWNER PURCHASED THESE RECORDS DURING THE 1960'S AND 1970S, PLAYED THEM A FEW TIMES (IF AT ALL, IN SOME CASES, I WOULD GUESS) AND PLACED THEM IN PROTECTIVE SLEEVES AND STORED THEM (CORRECTLY) VERTICALLY FOR MANY YEARS. DUE TO THE RECORDS BEING STORED AND UNUSED FOR MANY YEARS I WOULD RECOMEND A PROFESSIONAL CLEAN AS A MATTER OF COURSE, TO ENHANCE THESE WONDERFULLY PRESERVED RECORDS FURTHER.

Unusual 1st pressing, ED1, ''Original Recording By'' but has no groove to the label but is certainly not an ED3 label due to it having the 'Original Recording by''. Not to sure I have seen this a few times.

Record-EX+ (Excellent Plus)
A very nice example that has been well preserved. It has retained a deep glossy shine throughout both sides. In very strong bright light and at certain angles there are a couple of very light, inconsequential, wispy, inner sleeve marks in places, these are very few and far between, with a couple of other very light marks and minimal hairlines, barely noticed. The record has clearly been well handled and cared for in the correct manner. A very nice example of this highly sought after recording.
Due to this record being stored and largely unused for many years I would recommend a professional clean to enhance this fantastic example further.
Sleeve EX+ (Excellent plus)
The sleeve is very clean throughout and presents very well indeed. There is some very light handling marks to the laminate, with some light general laminate lifting, but nothing heavy or distracting. There is some very minor edge/corner wear. There are some light surface marks, with some light ring wear lightly showing in places. The back cover is well preserved, fresh and nicely clean with only light marks and light grubbiness at the edges of the flip backs, with some other light minimal signs of wear, light ring wear etc. This example has clearly been very well cared for and correctly stored.
