EX A nicely preserved example, clean playing surfaces throughout, a cuple of light surface marks and minor hairlines, slight inner sleeve removal marks noticed, but nothing heavy or distracting that would effect play back. Only light spindle marks noticed. It has retained some of its gloss with some very minor dulling just noticed. A very attractive looking copy that looks to have had minimal use and well looked after.
I have listened to large extracts of the audio and it was quite a pleasent listen. There is some light, underlying surface noise static/crackle more noticed in quieter passages and unaccompanied sections, run ins and outs etc but certainly not distracting. This was pretty consistent but quite low in the mix for the most part. In louder more busy Orchestral passages it was barely noticeable if at all noticed. There were some occasional light pops and minor ticks in places but nothing overly distracting, with no noticeable skipping or jumps. Audio grade matching the visual.
A professional clean will no doubt remove some of this, as this record has been stored (correctly, vertically), unplayed for many years.
PLEASE NOTE THIS RECORD ALONG WITH OTHERS CURRENTLY LISTED HAVE BEEN STORED UNPLAYED FOR MANY YEARS, I WOULD SUGGEST A PROFESSIONAL CLEAN AS A MATTER OF COURSE.
Sleeve
EX The front is clean and well preserved with light wear and minor surfaces marks noticed, some, moderate, light edge and corner wear noticed but presenting with reasonably sharp edges and corners if a little rounded with age. Some light storage wear but nothing heavy wear, with a small split restored botton left corner. Some faint ring wear showing with slight handling marks just noticed. The back cover again is reasonably well presented with some moderate marks and discolouration some wear and marking along the flip back areas, with some minor handling creases, toning to the central area and old pen prices written in top right corner area. A solid EX example.
