FROM THE 1st RUN OF THE BEATLES' BOXSET: PXS 1

This was the Beatles' thirteenth and final album release. Let It Be was originally released as a Box Set, with "The Beatles Get Back" book. Of course the album went straight to the number 1 position within the Melody Maker, New Musical Express and Record Retailer charts. It stayed there for 3 weeks from the 23rd of May 1970. The release date was the 8th of May 1970 for the box set and the 6th of November for normal album release.

This one up for auction is from the very Boxset mentioned.....

NEAR MINT!
 After giving her a gentle vacuum clean I have just had the utter pleasure of playing her all the way through-at volume!...She provided a beautiful sound reproduction with NO significant background noise to speak of!
I popped my arm on the lightest setting, turned the volume right up, sat back and marvelled at the quality of the audio blasting out!
Even the run-ins and transitions inbetween tracks were as close to silent as you could expect!!
To be ultra critical-I noticed some very light background crackle at the start of The Long and Winding Road-nothing bad what-so-ever...Sounded more like static really.
 I cannot even see any marks to the vinyl-certainly nothing AT ALL to affect playback.
 Still has that gorgeous shine.

QUALITY, CLEAR AUDIO-AS THE BEATLES WANTED YOU TO HEAR THEM.

(It was so clear-I noticed an escalation at the end of Across The Universe, on the piano-which I had not noticed before in the fade out...Lovely! ;)

 Superb condition...No writing, rips or tears.
I can only see evidence of a small handful of LIGHT spindle marks, which are ONLY evident when angled toward the light-and specifically looking for them..Lovely!
ZERO hole wear to mention!

  Shiny, glossy, rich black colour to both sides. The pictures of the Beatles shine out in all their glory.
The back cover has the very 1st printing run from the Boxset: RED APPLE above the An E.M.I Recording and Apple Records text at the bottom. The spine is still lovely and strong...you can clearly see the writing down the spine "The Beatles Let It Be" & "Apple Recods PCS 7096." with zero wear to the spine.

There's CERTAINLY NO SPLITS OR TEARS to this cover.

All I note is one very small, fine line of spidering to the laminate on the back and a very light knock to the top left corner. Other than that there are just a couple of TINY fingers of spidering emanating from the edges with nothing to worry about at all.

*WOULD DISPLAY INCREDIBLY WELL*

The corners remain as sharp today as they were when born 51 years ago!!!!

 The original die-cut and lined "Made In Great Britain" inner. Not only that, but it is THE EARLIEST inner of this type as it has the "PATENTS APPLIED FOR" text printed to the bottom left corner-which goes hand in hand with this very 1st pressing.
WITHOUT writing.
WITHOUT splits.
Just some very light creasing-That's it! ...
Certainly done the job in looking after this wonderful slab of vinyl for the past 51 years!
