Description
About This Record. This is an original first pressing -1A/-1A matrix numbered USA copy of the same titled LP by July, the best psych group LP released ever in STEREO on USA (and Canada) Epic records (This LP was never released in STEREO in the UK, Brazil, or Mexico. Yes, this has the -1A and -1A matrix numbers on both sides, and is the VERY VERY First USA stereo pressing. This LP was released ONLY in MONO in the UK on Major-Minor Records and in Mono in Brazil and Mexico; there are NO U.K., Brazil, or Mexico stereo copies. This has a Promo stamp on the back cover and some stickers on the back cover, and writing on the labels and stickers, but the vinyl is top archive Near Mint (NM) and this is in stereo, not MONO like all of the U.K. copies on Major-Minor Records. Good luck, No Reserve.
Please see the details below about the cover, vinyl, labels and everything else you might want to know.
PLEASE CHECK my Feedback which will show you my grading, Cover/Vinyl, of other 45rpms and LPs I have recently sold and what the lucky people who bought them think of them and our experience. The photos of the labels or cover list the songs and any possible details about the labels.
I offer full refund including shipping both ways (for USA and foreign buyers in case for some wildly strange reason you might be unhappy with this purchase). Comes cleaned on my KL Audio Ultrasonic Record Cleaner and placed in a new dust-free sleeve for your grandchildren. And at least one plastic sleeves for moisture protection (for you and me).
Cover Condition: STRONG Excellent Minus (EX-) or much better. The Front Cover presents in close to Near Mint (NM) shape, with just the lightest of corner rubs, and almost imperceptible VERY light ring wear when you look top middle of the front cover in bright light. So . . . why do I say the cover is "only" in nice Excellent Minus (EX-) condition? Well, there are NO spine splits, or seam splits, but the back cover has a red Promo stamp (like all USA Stereo Promo Copies of this LP), and also a bonus Radio Station stamp (WKRT) on the back top right corner, and UNFORTUNATELY, the back cover has three places where the prior owner, likely D.J., named "R.J. Trodella" stamped his name on three places on the back cover, as well as put a file sticker on the back cover with R.J. Trodella on it. Just the very lightest of corner rubs. The labels have written in black marker the numbers "1" and "2" on the labels, written along with. . . . "R.J. Trodella" of course. Very nice copy if you are an R.J. fan, but not so bad. And TOP Keeper vinyl! Please see all my Photos. I didn't take them for fun and frolic.
Vinyl Condition: Near Mint Minus (NM-) STEREO vinyl. Matrix read -1A and -1A indicating the VERY FIRST pressing. Just a few random pops. Looks Near Mint (NM) under bright light, with only the lightest of play. Impossible to upgrade unless you find a sealed copy. This is my personal copy I saved long ago and have stored properly. There is no problem with this LP other than a few random pops. Impossible to upgrade the vinyl! I know as I have sold over 5000 LPs on eBay, and maybe only 100 or so have I graded Near Mint (NM). I am not a dealer and I do not use that term lightly. This is Near Mint (NM), so I grade Near Mint Minus (NM-) for the worst of fickle folks. PLEASE see my feedback where you can see my grading of every LP I sell; I do not hide my grading and make you waste time looking at my whole advertisement trying to figure out what the condition of the LP is!
Labels. Very Good (VG) STOCK labels (there never was a white label promo Stereo copy of this LP; only a white label promo mono copy with the same mix as the U.K. Major Minor issue). The labels have a large "1" and "R.J. Trodella" written on one side in black marker, and "2" and "R.J. Trodella" written on the label for Side 2, also in black marker. Please see photos of all labels. Obviously, R.J. loved this LP, and fortunately he hardly ever, if ever, played it :)
Inserts: Comes with original plain white (Now brownish) plain paper inner sleeve.
Packaging. I clean all vinyl on my KL Audio Ultrasonic Record Cleaning Machine and place it in a new innersleeve so the old dust does not reattach; but I also include the innersleeve that came with the LP if it is the original. I separate the vinyl in its new sleeve after cleaning from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection. I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack with at least two insert stiffeners, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and/or “Fragile” or something like that to help facilitate a safe passage.
Shipping and Payment. PayPal only. I ship promptly worldwide; sometimes the automatic eBay invoice does not have accurate shipping if you buy more than one LP, so if you are unsure email me and ask for an invoice. . . . I offer full refund on this record including shipping both ways, unless you live outside North America in which case I will refund you shipping one way unless I made a mistake which I sometimes do because I am only human..
