Released back in 1967, this album was re-pressed many times in different formats for both the record and the cover....NOW here is an all singing, all dancing original 1967 press.

Issued on the 8th of December...HAPPY CHRISTMAS, with Satanic Majesties!

THE VINYL:

Visual VG- but Audio VG+/EX-.

Sounds superb, but with many light marks to her-however certainly nothing to lessen the enjoyment I had whilst listening to the whole album. I noticed only some soft background crackle which was not offensive at all, along with some occasional soft and dull (not jarring) background pops in the quieter sections-for example; at the end of the last track on side 1. But none of these ruined my enjoyment of this classic album-I found they just added to the authenticity. But no-(for you out there who believe I am in possesion of a time machine) it is not a pure, pristing sounding playback, straight from the pressing plant in 1968. She carries light marks and the occasional bit of background crackle n pop.

As flat as the day he was born.

Glorious sheen and weight to the vinyl.

THE LABELS:

Once again, she really is a glorious copy! Only a small handful of very light spindle marks-visible when angled towards the light and looking for them, but are easier to spot on these light blue labels. With barely any central hole wear as you can see from the images provided.

The labels carry the UNBOXED DECCA and the small (Regd) mark under it.

THE SLEEVE:

Original "Version 1" 1967 sleeve, with the "MONO TXL 103" printed to the bottom right on the back of the gatefold.

Wonderful condition...Strong spine, with very strong and only very slightly knocked and rubbed corners.

The 3D image to the front is lovely and clean.

Vibrant colours, with the laminate having very little spidering-all I can see is a tiny line to the top right corner, with a few other small fingers emanating from the seams of the back panel-most wouldn’t even bother to mention this...Lovely.

Good strong thick & heavy card.

I am being incredibly critical....Please see my feedback for gradings.

The inside is as bright as the day he was born and free from any writing.

THE INNER:

VG+

It is the ORIGINAL 'Whispy Cloud' red and white inner. Still gloriously vibrant!

Some gentlefeathering to the top.

Only marked as an VG+ due to a small split of around 7cm to the bottom and a very fine split to one other side of around 5cm. Neither would be noticable if framed.

ALL ORIGINAL!

ALL IN ALL SHE IS A TRUE COLLECTORS PIECE IN WONDERFUL CONDITION AND WOULD SIT PROUD IN ANYONES COLLECTION.
