COVER IN VG+, moderate ringwear, light seamwear along bottom

Getting very scarce now, this is an original 1968 US pressing of Welsh freakbeat psych band the Eyes of Blue's first LP CROSSROADS OF TIME. File alongside the End, the Koobas and Tomorrow, and fans of those bands will love what the Eyes do to Arthur Lee and Love's "7 and 7 Is," the Beatles' "Yesterday" and Grahame Bond's "Love Is The Law." The 5 and a half minute freakbeat freakout "Prodigal Son" ain't bad either. The awkward sophomore album In the Fields of Ardath came one year later and found them flirting with Moody Blues style prog rock. Following that, the band broke up and members went on to join Man, Pete Brown's Piblokto, Gentle Giant and Wild Turkey. As for the Eyes of Blue, CROSSROADS OF TIME was their one moment of true artistic genius.
