Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.
New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I grade a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played. I use the eBay grading category to describe the cover condition.
- This is a First Pressing of an Asylum Records Promotional copy of the original 1972 release.
- It is also the first pressing with a white label and a gatefold cover.
- It has spindle marks but the playing surfaces look clean.
- It is a Presswell Pressing.
- The Promo sticker is on the front cover.
- This is the version with the upside down photo in the gatefold.
- Includes a board inner sleeve with a photo and credits.
- The gatefold cover has tight seams, a stiff spine and shows some shelf & storage wear.
- This is a one-owner that the Seller got new from the Elektra/Asylum rep in his record store in 1972. It has been in storage for 52 years.
