Description
Earliest dark red England Philips deluxe of Salvatore Accardo Violin, with Masur & the Gewandhaus in Bruch World Premieres on two records, the serenade Op 75 and In Memoriam Op 65, then the 3rd concerto & adagio Appassionato, with the Romance Op 42 as a very attractive filler being the only non premiere to this very important pair of lps, separately issued, then later also released as a box set. This is the first pressing way to have these.
Clean Near Mint Lps, with clean labels with few spindle marks, excellent sleeve with faint evidence of seven playing dates to rear of one (I bought these 9 years apart!) - so a previous owner who noted when he played the record, this one seven times. What could be expected from a single lp in a broad and deep collection. Accardo, as ever, doing more than justice to these neglected but attractive and worthwhile works.
