Very Scarce early Maurice Chevalier 78rpm (possibly a different rpm for this French Vertical recording) French Pathe 4163 ... Recorded ca. July 1924 The record is slightly more than 11-inches The first title "Dit's Moi M'Sieur Chevalier" was recorded here as a duet with Yvonne Vallee, who he later married in 1927. This is the Chevalier version of the famous "Gallagher and Shean" song, replacing names and in French The Reverse is a solo by Maurice, apparently a song he performed at the Casino de Paris...
Rarely seen Chevalier Pathe records are rare in France, let alone in the U.S.
