Description
For your bidding pleasure, I'm offering some pretty hard to find Pink Floyd LPs. Here's the initial list: Obscured by Clouds, A Saucerful of Secrets, More (soundtrack from), Ummagumma, Dark Side of the Moon (MFSL), There's somebody out there (colored vinyl, white/clear)
Also, two empty Wish You Were Here album covers. Vinyl missing, unfortunately. Two different cover pictures for comparison.
I do not have a turntable anymore, so I cannot speak to the condition of these records. What I do know is that I didn't play these much. That's not to say they aren't trashed, and I'd prefer you bid on them based on that description. Winning bidder should plan to clean them well, and play them with a junk needle so's not to do damage to your fancy equipment. These may or may not skip, but there will most definitely be scratches. Covers are intact, but definitely show rim wear.
The real oddities here, in my opinion, are..
There's somebody out there. There is no music here. this is interviews. I don't know with whom, I've never listened to it. Special edition colored vinyl. 1989 Tabak Marketing Limited, made in England. BAK 6003
The two 'Wish You Were Here' covers.. note the different images on the front (the framing, the fire, and the mens' pose). One of these is Columbia 1975, the other is EMI-Bovema Holland, 1977. No records in either of these. TOTALLY display pieces only.
MFSL (mobile fidelity sound labs) original master recording, Dark Side. Record actually looks pretty good. But no guarantees. Gatefold jacket is worn, but still intact. Inner dust jacket is padded, per original. MFSL 1-017
Ummagumma.. looks to me like it would play; both records. Live recording, June 1969. If you're a Pink Floyd fan and you don't have a copy of "Careful with that Axe, Eugene", well then this is for you :) Harvest, STBB-388 double album, gatefold.
Soundtrack from the film "MORE". Record looks like it would play okay. I've never listened to it. EMI Columbia SCX 6346
A Saucerful of Secrets. Record looks okay. Cover could be way worse. I've never listened to this particular copy. Columbia SCX 6258
Obscured by Clouds; Music from the film "The Valley" 1972, Harvest SW-11078. Never listened to this one personally either.
