Description
This auction is for a rare black gospel LP record titled "Glory! Hallelujah" by "The Gospelettes". Recorded on a green "Open Door Missionary Fellowship" label from St. Louis, Missouri. Recently found at a local estate sale. I'm not a record dealer or collector, but this record is very shiny, looks seldom played, no writing, seams good, but there are very, very light signs of wear on this record. Several faint scratches, I photographed a couple examples for you, the photo viewing the whole record is showing a lot of reflections and some fingerprints. The cover has bumped corners and mildew spots on the lower edge of cardboard. The cover design is very simple, five young black women, photographed in black and white on pasted down paper. This front paper has two wrinkles that simply are from poor original packaging. Please look at the photos, you'll see a truly scarce early gospel album.
