Description

This collectible and rare limited edition 12" picture disc pressing features ten(10) of Earth, Wind and Fire's greatest hits, on an album title "The Best of Earth Wind and Fire."  It was released on Columbia Records (RSO) in 1978.  This is the original release and is a sealed copy. It has never been played nor displayed. Earth, Wind and Fire remain very popular. They are appearing at the wonderful Ravinia, in northern Illinois, this summer, and the cost of their tickets is higher than many other concerts at that venue.

I acquired this sealed copy at a Hillside Holiday Inn convention from another dealer in the early 1980's. It has been safely stored with my other albums since then. It was considered a significantly rare album even in those early years after its release. I believe it was re-released a few times after the initial pressing.  This copy of this limited edition disc is an original release, not a re-issue.
