East Memphis Music-The Hits From The Stax Era 1984 USA 26 track Double Album Promotional compilation issued thru Irving Music - EM 50009)  Limited Edition promotional album produced by American music publisher Almo Music/Irving Music (known as Rondor Music outside the USA), who owned the  publishing rights to most of the Stax songs.  This promotional album was produced prior to Almo/Irving being sold to Universal Music and contains 26 classic Stax songs, including recordings by Otis Redding, Al Green, Carla Thomas, Aretha Franklin, Staple Singers, Booker T & The MG’s, Sam & Dave, Wilson Pickett, Isaac Hayes and more – a great collection of Stax hits.  Housed in gatefold picture jacket in excellent condition showing light shelf wear/light crease top RH corner.  Vinyl LP’s are in excellent condition – EM 50009

The record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The sleeve and any extra items are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX)

The record shows signs of having been played but there is negligible loss in sound quality. The sleeve may have slight wear or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG)

The record has been played many times but shows no significant deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks. Sleeve has normal wear and tear without any major defects.

GOOD (G)

The record has been played enough that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably and may have pops and skips. The sleeve may suffer from scuffs, spine splits, ring wear and/or discolouration.
