Original UK Deram label stereo press LP.

This is the second East Of Eden LP released in January 1970. The band had formed in 1967 in Bristol, but moved to London to sign with Deram in 1969. During touring of the UK in 1970 promoting the success of their second album Snafu, founders Geoff Nicholson & Ron Caines quit. This left Dave Arbus as the only original member to carry on with new band members after being signed by Harvest in late 1970.

This copy has the small red Deram label and P-1W P-1W matrices & 1-U 1-C stampers of the very 1st pressings.

The Clout & Baker front laminated sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light corner/edge wear and some light laminate rubbing on the front cover, with some laminate lifting along the spine. There is some light rubbing on the unlaminated rear cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the blue company inner is intact & in VG+condition.   The record is in visually EX condition, with only a couple of faint & wispy hairlines and one or two light needle scuffs visible on each side that do not affect play. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a couple of faint spindle markings on each side.   The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some very low background noise during the run in grooves, overall a really great, loud & clear listen.  

The matrix nos. are; ZAL-9435-P-1W mother stamper 1-U, ZAL-9436-P-1W mother stamper 1-C.
This is one of the earliest copies of the original 1970 UK stereo 1st issue of this album!
