Description

East of Eden self titled album released on the Harvest label in 1971 (cat no SHVL 792). The album has the first press textured gatefold sleeve and the vinyl is stamped A-4/B-4 which also indicate a first pressing of this record. Only one of the two labels has the ''boxed'' EMI insignia, again an indicator for a first pressing. The vinyl remains in excellent minus condition retaining a good sheen but with a few very light paper scuffs and very light superficial scratches evident. Upon playback there is significant ''crackling'' present at the start of both sides but both sides then play extremely well with only minor crackling audible in the quieter sections. Both labels remain in excellent condition. The outer textured gatefold sleeve too remains in excellent condition with no rips, tears or creasing present just very minor edge & corner wear present. The record comes in its original black poly-lined sleeve again in excellent condition.
