Description
Very serviceable copy of East of Eden's second album Snafu, issued on Deram, and offering a heady mix of jazzy prog-rock, Eastern influences, tape effects, musical jokes, free jazz and whimsical noodling.
This is the stereo UK 1st press with the red and white labels.
The front laminated sleeve is decent enough on the front with general wear and corner/spine creasing, but there is some damage lower down on the back cover which has left some tears which affect the latter part of the sleeve notes, plus some surface tears at the top (see photo).
The vinyl has plenty of hairlines, scuffs and marks but plays through consistently well and is an enjoyable listen. There is some surface noise which only intrudes at the very quietest moments.
The labels are excellent and it comes with an original Decca/Deram blue stereo inner sleeve in very good order.
