Description
You are bidding on the very rare UK 1st Pressing of 'Eclection' by Eclection - . This is one of the rarest records on the Elektra label and, given its age, it is difficult to find this record in such good condition. The Catalogue number is EKS 74023 on the original 1st Press Orange Elektra label and is the UK Stereo 'Patent Pending' 1st pressing. The record has no reserve, and postage is free inside the UK.
This record will appeal to fans of Psych, as it is a rather British, folksy and melancholic approach to the genre, with a strong female vocal lead, not unlike Fairport Convention. Please check my profile for my others auctions - I have a pressing of 'Forever Changes' also for sale.
The cover is as shown, in very good condition, with the laminate well preserved. The inside of the gatefold is in very good condition also, with a small piece of writing about 2cm x 1cm at the top right of the left side. The record is in very good condition, and plays very well. The B-side of the record has a line mark, which is purely cosmetic and does not affect the sound of the record (no 'skips', etc).
