Eddie Boyd and his Blues Band 1967 featuring Peter Green Stereo London PS 554 still in shrink wrap (abut half of the shrink wrap is missing from the back) small cut out hole, bottom right corner LP VG+ cover VG+ One tiny mark at the end of side one does not affect play.


One of the earliest examples of American bluesmen being backed by British musicians. Mississippi born pianist Eddie Boyd wound up in Chicago, by way of Memphis. Rare classic from Chicago blues pianist. Not only is Peter Green playing in the band, but other English guys on this album include TS Tony McPhee of classic British blues group, the Groundhogs, playing on a few tracks. Add John Mayall on harmonica, John McVie on bass and Ansley Dunbar (Mayall, Zappa, Jefferson Starship, Journey) on drums!
