Eddie Cochran Never on Liberty LIB 10049 rare exc condition
These records are part of the estate of an avid collector of Rock and Roll. They gave an awful lot of pleasure to him, and hopefully they will go to good homes where they will be enjoyed for many years to come. The full description of this item follows, but please do check the ‘other items’ for many more. If there is a demand, there will be many more to follow. We are not dealers, and are no experts in the grading system so I’ll just try to describe what I see, but do ask if we can help further.
This auction is for Eddie Cochran’s Never / Think of Me 7” 45 on the Liberty label. The Matrix number is 45(struck out) then -LIB 10049A-1N, there are a couple of other marks including ZT1, and 0. The original Liberty cover is in very good condition, although it does have some writing on both sides (Never on one side, and a name on the other – all neat and small). The vinyl looks nigh on perfect with the centre hole showing very little sign of it having been played much, if at all. Quite a find for the Eddie Cochran fan – and our friend was definitely one (see other listings).
