Rare privately pressed lp from Hawaii. Hawaiian lounge act with male and female vocals, lot's of swirling Hammond organ and Arp synth work, jamming guitar, etc. Sounds almost creepy at times with the smoky low-fi quality, dreamy, psychy echoed female vocals and some occasional background noise from the bar makes it sound like you listening to it at the bottom of a double mai tai. Look out for the heavy psych track wrap-up "City of Refuge" with spacey female vocals, smokin' guitar and keyboard work. The gatefold cover has a bio of Eddie and band New Hawaii on the inside along with song lyrics.
