Strong Playing E++ Condition Victor Orthophonic 78rpm Jazz, recorded February 8, 1929 and Featuring Eddie Condon's Hot Shots, with such Notables as Eddie Condon Banjo, Leonard Davis on Trumpet, Jack Teagarden Trombone and vocals on both sides, Mezz Mezzrow C-Melody Saxophone, Happy Caldwell tenor saxophone, Joe Sullivan piano, and George Stafford Drums. The Selections are I'm gonna Stomp, Mr. Henry Lee composed by Teagarden, Kelly, Rubens and Condon, and That's a Serious Thing, composed by Teagarden, Condon, O'Sullivan and Mosirow. .This is a hard to find Victor Hot Dance V-38046  retaining its original glossy shine and plays exceptionally strong (See photos and Grading below). .   Payment is by Paypal, and shipment in the USA will be by USPS Priority Mail.  Please wait for invoice before paying as the cost of shipping will vary depending on your location. My grading system is simple 

M   I was transported back in time to a record store and purchased new stock and returned to 2016.  

M-  It looks like new old stock but I can't prove it. 

E+ It looks and plays really fantastic, visual grading under light may detected minimal hard to see scuffs and maybe some tiny surface scratches

E  It has been obviously been handled and played a number of times, may have a few minor scuffs and surface scratches as you would find on most records of this vintage, but still plays really exceptionally well.

E- , quite a few signs of scuffing and other surface blemishes and scratches along with noticeable but not distracting surface noise but still enjoyable .

G+  A serious collector would turn his nose up at it, but a beginner would jump in, sound quality far from great, starting to fade much more gray and little gloss left, and almost ready for the Old record retirement home.  

G   Been through a war and looks like it was played 100's of times with worn steel needle,  A wall hanger or target practice item, or for those who just wanted to say they have one.
