Description

Eddy Arnold Texarkana Baby/Bouquet of Roses RCA Victor 48-0001 Green Vinyl 1st 45 in US. Notable as this was the first 45 rpm title released in the US by RCA in 1949. Vinyl is VG. Sleeve is generic. I play tested this. It sounds good. Low surface noise with a few clicks (not perfect by definitely age appropriate). Plays without skipping or jumping. Texarkana Baby is a great song and Eddy Arnold really had an outstanding voice. The lap steel guitar work is quite good on both tracks and was very much a part of Arnold'd signature sound at the time. Label has writing and an ink stamped name. Some fading of the lettering is visible.
