Description

An original 1st press of Wasa Wasa on the UK Harvest label from 1969. Matrix 1/1. Stampers 1M/1P [ so it's from the first few thousand copies ever pressed]. Please note the labels do not hold the EMI logo which is indicative of 1st press. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Ernest J Day gatefld cover. Also included is the original Harvest inner sleeve. So, 100% complete & 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side - but nothing troublesome or that will feature audibly. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Absolutely superb rendition and pretty difficult to find fault with. Interference appears to be totally absent even in those quiet passages. We couldn't detect more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments - it literally is that good.
Cover (Ex) In superb shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Lovely shiny front with just a couple of very light creases. Ditto the rear - just a couple of thumbnail creases toward the opening. The interior is in great condition with only light handling. Edge wear is light and the spine is pretty much entirely intact. The text on the spine is mostly legible - just the final 'n' of the band's name having been knocked. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A very fine example.
Inner (Ex) Lightest of ageing and no spits or markings.
